I had no clue the preparations tht were goin on months ahead. On the day itself, Will took me out despite bein sick.I kept tellin him we cld go another time when he was feelin better.He insisted he wanted to be spend the time alone with me.Little did i know it was a plan to get me out of the house.Shaneeta went kite flyin.Nothin seemed unusual.
By the time I was walkin back home i thot i'm so gonna sleep cos i was tired.Then at abt 7 when i entered the house, the first thing i saw were the blue n white balloons.Typical me,thts all i noticed.My mind went blank.wats the occassion?There was absolute silence.Will switches the lights on n runs into the bomb shelter.Frens n family shout surprise n one runs towards me n is sayin somethin tht isn't sinkin in my brain at all.All i kept thinkin was wats happenin?
N then i slowly walk in,thinkin of wat to say.I m surprised.Slowly i realise oh its my baby shower.ok so now wat?then they show me the cake n the theme was blue n white n they were all dressed in blue n white n the decor was matched to the theme.n the games began.
I guess it really didn't sink in till i went to bed tht nite.The effort put in,the research done,the time taken n all tht expense.The money i wished my sis wld use to save for her wedding;the amount of money Puni spent sayin its a gift thts way too expensive.My frens who took the trouble to attend the function and bought gifts.I m deeply touched.It felt amazing tht I had people who cared n felt i was important and wanted me to feel special.
